Our services

Axon Learning offers in-home assistance for youth 16+ and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, fetal alcohol syndrome, and other developmental or intellectual disabilities that hinder their independence and self-sufficiency.

Our dedicated team composed of behaviour therapists, developmental support workers, respite workers, and instructor therapist assistants are well-versed in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) and other specialized strategies to support individuals living with disabilities. We emphasize a 'do with' rather than 'do for' approach, actively involving participants in daily living skills.

Staff assist with:

  • meal planning and preparation
  • maintaining tidy living areas
  • offering social companionship
  • aiding with school assignments
  • peer mentorship
  • support in community running light errands

Staff facilitate activities such as:

  • arts and crafts
  • music
  • social games
  • community outings
  • board games and tabletop activities
  • STEM projects
  • video games
  • gardening
  • physical recreation

Social Skills

Opportunities to develop social skills such as: conversational turn-taking, active listening, and more through through group activities and facilitated programming.

Daily Living

Practice essential life skills such as cooking, prepping food, tidying your living space, using the appropriate tools for the job.

Engaging Opportunities

Enrichment through social games, physical activities, crafting, STEM projects, tailored to specific interests.
